Repairman determined the Defrost heater was out. Repairman wanted 3 week to get the part. I have shopped many times before at AppliancePartsPros for other appliance parts. Ordered parts online had them in 3 days. Repairman installed my parts and was shocked I procured what was needed so quickly. Read more
The ice maker still worked so I just ordered a new Dispenser Control Board and thanks to Appliance Parts Pros, five minutes after it arrived at the house the ice dispenser was working again. Read more

The ice dispenser door was not closing tightly. As a result, there was frost build up in the ice chute, which also was allowing ambient air and temperature into the freezer compartment. Upon further inspection, there was black “schmutz” on the ice door, and the rubber ice funnel and deflector parts were deteriorating.
