The Lid Assembly is an OEM part for Fisher & Paykel dryers. It consists of the dryer lid and attached hinges, which provide controlled access to the drying chamber.

Symptoms of a bad lid assembly include:

• Difficulty opening or closing the dryer lid
• Loose, unstable, or off-track movement of the lid
• Gaps in the lid seal letting heated air escape

Causes of failure can be stripped or worn-out hinges, broken seals or cracked plastic over prolonged use. Overloading the dryer can also put excess stress on the lid assembly.

This control panel DX1 is the front user interface for the appliance, giving you the buttons and display needed to select cycles and settings. It restores normal control access and visible status feedback. What it does:

• Provides the push-button controls and display used to start and adjust cycles
• Relays user commands to the appliance's control system for cycle selection
• Commonly replaced for unresponsive buttons, missing/blank display segments, or incorrect control behavior
• Helps restore reliable user input and visible status indicators

• Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any work to avoid shock
• Handle the panel carefully to avoid damaging the display, ribbon cables, or connectors
