The Drum Belt is an OEM part for Fisher & Paykel dryers. It is located inside the dryer cabinet and works to rotate the drying drum during operation.
The drum belt transmits power from the dryer motor to the cylindrical drum, spinning it at optimal speeds to tumble and dry wet laundry efficiently. Without a functioning belt, the drum cannot turn.
Causes of a bad belt can include cracks or splits from age and extended use. Improper tension during installation can also lead to premature belt failure.
