This is a four ribbed poly V belt.
This is the third time our LG dryer has had this problem in 8 years. The first two times were covered under warranty. Since the dryer is out of warranty, I decided to fix it myself. Ordered the part that caused the problem. It was easy to replace. A 10 -15 minute job. Read more
This wire harness was verbatim the stock wire harness with the attachment clips in the exact location they needed to be in. I rated the level of difficulty higher simply due to all of the parts you have to disassemble then reassemble. Keep good notes/photos on everything. I left the old harness in place and disconnected only the wires I was connecting at the time until I finished the entire harness. Read more
Replaced the wiring harness. Since the dryer drum needed to be removed, the the belt, tensioner pulley, and drum rollers were also replaced. Read more
