This OEM replacement part is a control board for dryers. The control board is the main circuit board that controls the main functions of the dryer. If the dryer is no longer turning on, or not working properly, this could mean it's time for a new control board. To replace the control board, first, make sure the dryer is unplugged. Pull out the dryer and remove the 2 screws that secure the top panel of the appliance. Pull the back panel back and release the mounting tabs. Pull the top panel off of the dryer. Use a screwdriver to release the locking tabs from the wire connectors. Pull the wire harness, and remove the screw slide the control board to release it from the brackets. Touch the metal cabinet to dissipate static electricity. Position the new control board on the support bracket and push it into the mounting slots. Lock it into place and replace the mounting screw. Do not overtighten. Reconnect the wires to the new control board, snap the board back into the locking tab.This genuine replacement control board is compatible with LG brand dryers.

During the drying cycle, the drum turns and tosses the clothes around to distribute heat. This drum support roller holds the drum in place as it rotates. Over time, the heat from the dryer can lead to the roller becoming worn. If the dryer is making squealing sounds or thumping when operating, the support roller is worn out and should be replaced. Before replacing the drum support roller, make sure the power is disconnected from the dryer. Remove the top and front panel of the dryer to reach the drum. The idler pulley and dryer belt are underneath the drum; remove these and then take the drum out of the unit and set it aside. Remove the mounting bracket holding the worn drum support roller. Remove and replace the worn roller. While the dryer is apart, inspect the remaining support rollers. Reverse the steps used and put the dryer back together.
