This is an upper dish rack assembly for dishwashers. It is located in the top section of the dishwasher and is meant to ensure dishes stay in place while the dishwasher is running. The dish rack assembly is durable but can experience damage, stains, or other issues. This may make it unsuitable for holding dishes in the appliance. If the part is damaged or malfunctioning, it should be replaced with a new part.This is a simple replacement that takes only a few minutes to complete. First, open up the dishwasher. Remove the bottom rack if desired to create more room to work with the upper dish rack assembly. Take a small flathead screwdriver and use it to release the retaining tabs located on the stop clips. Remove the stop clips and the old dish rack assembly will slide out. Align the new assembly and slide it into place before reassembling other small parts.This upper dish rack assembly is used as an authentic OEM replacement part for dishwashers manufactured by Maytag, Norge, Jenn Air, Admiral, Amana, Crosley, and Magic Chef. Disconnected the pump and motor assembly and pulled the unit out from the tub then removed the motor (left hand threads) from the impeller and replaced the impeller and seal reinstalled this fixed the problem. Read more
Ordered the new o-rings for the pump housing and main filter screen unit. Cleaned all water hardness and other debris out of all parts. Main filter and inside parts clogged with water hardness/limescale and other debris. The 3" wide round filter internal was completely clogged with debris and some of the filter holes we crystallized with water limescale. O-rings, sleeves and nuts are not included. For O-rings use WPY913079. For sleeves use 99001333. For nuts use 99002208
According to the manufacturer this rack now only comes as a bare rack. No wheels or tines. Tines and clips are no longer available and are not included. Old ones must be used. Color: white. Measures about 21 inches wide by 23 inches deep.
I rolled the old bottom rack out and pushed the new one in. With the top rack, I used a flat head screw driver to pry off the stoppers for the rack, removed the old rack from the rails, put the new rack in and put the stoppers back on. Good as new and easy to do! Read more
Replaced lifter underneath the washer arm. Three torx screws to remove the piece under the washer arm. the lifter can only fit one way due to the cut of the lifter actuator lever. Access to the solenoid under the machine makes it extremely easy to replace the lifter onto the lever. Read more
