Found a crack in timer knob, where it slides over timer. Ordered new timer knob, pulled off old knob and slid on new knob. Works as new now. Read more

My dryer was making a very loud noise while running. At first, a repair person came out and replaced the front plastic bearings but it had little effect. It appears that our rear bearing drum kit was also worn out, so I replaced that, but it still didn't solve it.
