Use the website to diagnose potential problems. The two most-likely fixes were a new heater element and a new thermostat. I was hesitant to try the repair, but the online video was so excellent that I decided to do the repair myself. I ordered the parts and they showed up the next afternoon! I could hear the old motor try to turn by it's hum but no ice came out. I made sure the auger was not jammed. The motor replacement took about 15 minutes. This was a very simple fix, one wire connection and 9 screws. Read more
