Ordered a new icemaker from Appliance Pros after viewing the video and determining I could accomplish the task. When the icemaker arrived (promptly) I installed it without difficulty after reviewing the video from Appliance Pros again. The icemaker is now happily making ice and we saved about $200. over the cost of having a repair person come out. Thank you Appliance Pros!! Read more

Removed the back cover to access the fan area. Clean the area with brush and vac first. Unplugged the Refrigerator. Used a socket set with 1/4" socket. Had an extended and a standard socket. Removed the condensate plastic drain from the bottom of the refrigerator to have more access to the fan. Unplugged the fan motor. Removed the two screws holding the fan in place.
