Sears no longer supported our refrigerator model, so I called Appliances Pros. I spoke with a young lady, she took the model number and description of the part we lost. First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more
