I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. Followed the video that was on the site. Almost as easy, except mine didn't have a terminal block, just individual lugs. The lugs were a little tight, guess so as they have been on for over 17 years. Took one off at a time and put it on the new switch. With needed floor cleaning, the task only took about 20 minutes. I selected basic delivery and it took almost 10 days. They could have shipped it USPS for faster service, as it only weighed 1/2 lb. Read more
