I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. Parts from APP fit fine and I completed the necessary repair. Was in the appliance sales and service business from 1974 thru 1990. Surfed the web for a quality and supportive parts supplier and it appears that I found them. Will continue to order parts. Read more
