Replaced control board and that fixed issue! Also replaced vent assembly due to occasional water leak . Old one showed signs where water leaked past the seal. New one had same design so hopefully will perform better Read more
Took out two screws holding the black panel onto the dishwasher, removed the black panel, removed the nuts holding the black handle and used them to attach the stainless handle to the stainless panel, peeled all the protective wrap off the panel, attached it to the dishwasher with the two screws. NO.8 - .625 Truss
We took off the front door cover and found that the vent had failed some time ago- the flap was frozen open, the motor did not work. We removed the three screws and the vent came of- putting the new one back was just that simple except that I had to remove the protective paper from the adhesive covered gasket around the surface of vent.
