No error codes; just lots of noise and movement James S. • Winchester , TN • April 29, 2023
After a few days of our 16 YO Frigidaire Affinity front-loading washer (model ATF7000EG0) dancing around the room bellowing like an elephant in musth, I decided to fix it. Well, technically, my wife decided I would fix it. I postulated that the OEM tub suspension system was rapidly deteriorating, so I ordered the shock absorber kit (5304485917), three nylon pins (131268300), two suspension springs (134362800), and a new drive belt (134051003) for good measure. These parts all arrived in...

Spider supporting drum was broken James S. • Passumpsic , VT • August 03, 2015
Follow instructions on internet. The only issue was the flat head allen drive screw securing the belt pulley to the shaft. Rounded the allen drive and wrench. Drilled two holes on opposite sides of allen drive hole. Elongated to make a long slot. Used impact driver to remove screw.

Our panel on the washing machine was cracked Crystal M. • Sandy Hook , CT • April 22, 2014
I unscrewed the top of the machine and pulled it back, then I unscrewed the front panel (be careful, lots of screws and I lost one in the bottom of the machine base). Then i replaced it with the new one and screwed it back on. It helps to have a second pair of hands to hold the control panel while you are removing and replacing panel. Replaced the top of machine and plugged back in. My 14 yr old son was there to hold the control panel for me.

Odor and mold Joel S. • Derry , NH • January 26, 2016
Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed. The video on the door boot seal, and inlet valve assembly were extremely helpful in understanding how these parts are removed and reassembled. Although the door boot seal is the most visible...
