I checked with Appliance Parts Pros.com and found out that the likely culprit was a broken Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm. I watched a video on the same site and figured I could change that part. I wanted to confirm it was that part so I took the front section apart. The Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm was in fact broken; the little tab that strikes the switch had broken off. I first replaced the evaporator fan but the problem wasn't fixed. All that was left was replacing the Adaptive Defrost Control Board and it the evaporator fan now starts immediately. Read more
