Ordered a very expensive piece of plastic in hopes it would prevent me from trashing an expensive and old freezer. Followed the instructions and the new gasket fit very easily. I used the hair dryer to reform the gasket per instructions. Although the gasket does seal, the freezer no longer has the vacum seal swoosh that was with the original gasket. Will watch and make sure the gasket does seal and the freezer does freeze. Read more

Pulled bottom kick panel off, removed the one screw that held the light bracket on, unplugged the light connection, had to file a small burr off the bracket and pushed the light into the slot, reconnected the push on connector, replaced the screw for the bracket, replaced the kick panel, and marveled at my accomplishment. I want to thank you. I was convinced that I needed a new run capacitor until talking to your rep on the phone. After describing the symptoms he suggested that I needed a new relay. He gave me info on how to meter the cap and it checked out fine. I ordered the new relay it has fixed the problem. The old one was definitely shot as I could hear it guts rattle around after I removed it. Now I don't need to buy a new freezer. That makes me happy. Thank you! Read more
