I ordered the lid from Appliance Parts Pros which arrived very quickly. Received it with in two days of the order. I was debating for 7 years whether or not to order the lid. Washing machine worked and is still working perfectly, but the integrity of the old lid was so degraded even after having taken steps to preserve it for as long as possible. 7 years ago I saw the beginning of the lid showing signs of rust. The belt was off of the pulley and the idler wheel was worn out. I replaced the idler pulley and the spring and put the new belt on and the washer is working fine now. Read more
I replaced the belt and the tensioner along with the spring for it. The tensioner c clip was hard to get to. There wasn't much room for my hands. Read more
I like fixing things and I like my 15 year old Frigidaire GLWS1649AS2, so I wanted to fix it.
