Replaced the assembly with a new one while I made coffee. Called the OEM and ended up ordering the part twice, once over the phone and once on-line after the first never arrived. OEM didn't mention the part was on back order. While I was on the phone cancelling both orders I was able to find and purchase the correct part from Appliance Part Pros. I saved $50 on the nose and received the part in 2 days (vs waiting for the back order part for 6 weeks). Read more

One screw under the lid and two clips released with a putty knife on the left side and unplugged the unit. Reinstalled in reverse. Read more
