The Burner Oven Bake Assembly is an OEM part for GE ranges. This part is responsible for providing the heat necessary to bake food in the oven. Located at the bottom of the oven, the bake burner ensures even and consistent heat distribution.

Screws on igniter mount were stripped, I cut and drilled them but destroyed the bake assembly tube in the process. I ordered igniter, bake assembly L shaped tube, and 2 screws from Appliance pros. Once I received the parts, the fix took less than 10 minutes. Parts were perfect. Was challenging because of the stripped screws, I recommend removing the entire bake assembly L shaped tube before attempting to unscrew the igniter from its mounts, you may not strip them that way. Second repair after 10 years of service - igniter had cracked and spill overs were causing the others to misfire. This was a two-step process. I took apart the cooktop to see what parts were neded. Screws were all rusted, I had to drill ome out. The burner gaskets broke during the process and needed replacement. One of the burners had deformed due to excess heat. Very simple. I have done it before. But you have to pull out the oven and remove the rear cover that covers the electrical connections. The wire for the igniter has to be pushed through from the inside of the oven into the rear of the oven in order to connect it. Read more

It was simple. I'm so glad that I did not call a repair man. I took a picture of the wiring and wrote it done too but there was enough slack in the wires to allow me to change one wire at a time from the old board to the new board. I found the part a little cheaper elsewhere but they did not have the part return guarantee that Appliance Parts Pros offers. I did not want to be stuck with a $200+ part if it was the wrong part.
