The Pan Leak is an OEM part for GE dishwashers. It is a machined pan located at the bottom of the tub that collects any residual water after a wash cycle finishes.
Symptoms of a faulty leak pan include:
- Puddles or residual water remaining in the bottom of the tub after a cycle
- Water not properly draining from the bottom tub area
- Potential for water damage issues if left unaddressed
Causes can be cracks in the molded pan housing, mineral deposits clogging the drainage channels, or warping preventing a proper seal.
Replacing with this authentic GE OEM part restores the tub's intended draining and drying functionality. It is compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore models as well to help prevent future water problems underneath the dishwasher.
