Replaces the freezer evaporator defrost heater to melt frost and keep the evaporator fins clear during the defrost cycle, helping restore proper airflow and more consistent cooling when frost or ice builds up. What it does:

Heats the evaporator fins during the defrost cycle to remove accumulated frost and ice.
Common symptom: visible frost or ice buildup on evaporator coils or freezer walls.
Other symptoms: reduced cooling performance or fluctuating/freezer temperatures that may indicate a defrost failure.
Works as the heating element in the refrigerator's defrost system to prevent recurring frost accumulation.
