This lower spray arm directs pressurized water across the dishwasher's bottom rack to remove food and detergent residue. Replacing a warped, cracked or clogged spray arm helps restore proper water coverage for cleaner dishes. What it does:

• Rotates and distributes wash water across the bottom rack to remove stuck-on food and soil.
• Clogged or blocked spray holes reduce cleaning performance on the lower rack.
• Cracks, breaks, or worn mounting tabs prevent rotation or cause rattling noises.
