This replacement part is a bushing, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by Frigidaire. This bushing is typically found in dishwashers but is compatible with other devices as well. The bushings are an important part of many appliances as they help reduce friction inside the machine during the different washing cycles. A new bushing might be needed if the current ones are broken or damaged. It is common that different machinery needs multiple types of bushings. These small but important parts are placed around tubes or poles and are meant to assist during the rotating or sliding mechanisms. Ordered required part to repair dishwasher and it arrived prior to the estimated delivery date. Part came in and we removed the old part by unplugging circuit, replaced with new part, installed new button control overlay and dishwasher worked perfectly! Read more

We took off the front door cover and found that the vent had failed some time ago- the flap was frozen open, the motor did not work. We removed the three screws and the vent came of- putting the new one back was just that simple except that I had to remove the protective paper from the adhesive covered gasket around the surface of vent. The installation was fairly simple, but you have to be a contortionist to get to it and you will probably have sore muscles the next day.
