This burner head is used on gas ranges to provide the cooking heat. The burner head is attached to the burner tube assembly that supplies the gas. When the burner is ignited, the holes in the burner head produce the flame that is used for cooking. Over time, food spills and normal corrosion may cause the holes in the burner head to become clogged or damaged. If this occurs, food will not cook evenly, or the burner may not ignite. The burner head should be removed and replaced. Turn the gas and power off to the stove. Remove the burner grate and burner cap and set them aside. Lift the burner head off the stove and dispose of it. Place the new burner head over the burner base and make sure the pin goes inside it. Seat the burner head level over the hole and make sure it is level. Place the burner cap and grate back on the stove. Reconnect the gas and power.This burner head is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on gas ranges by Kenmore, Frigidaire, Crosley, and Electrolux. Ordered part on Sunday evening. It arrived on Tuesday. Took the door off, no instructions so just looked at it logically and dismantled it. It was fairly easy and only needed a screwdriver. Took about 40 min. Start to finish. Just make sure to not lose any parts or screws and you’ll be fine. Read more

Ordered these replacements. Found it odd that one side was more than the orher, but this was the same on every site I searched. This site was the best price after shipping. They both came in three days, as scheduled, but in individual packages and two different brands? They did both fit, and were easy to install. Only issue that I had was that the screw holes that hold the hinges to the oven were not threaded to receive the small machine screws. Luckily I had a 10-32 tap to solve this problem.... Read more

I thought this would be a simple remove and replace, boy was I wrong. This repair became more complicated then it should have been. The screws holding the skirt were frozen and broke when trying to remove. Had to end up cutting the skirt using a dremel and a cutting blade. Was able to remove one of the screws using a pinning plier. The other one I had to bore it out using a drill bit.
