The problem was corrosion in the connector coming from the freezer door; the wire easily separated from the connector once I examined it. I had already bought a new freezer door, replacement part number WR78X11246, but the new door has a different connector. So, on speculation, I bought GE P/N WR09X10132 adapter wire, and it worked! When we inspected the first time we found that Plactic had broken from the spiral part that for wards the ice. Also there were cracks in two places of other parts. There was a hole in the bottom of the bin. The new spiral was assembled and two new parts were replaced with help from the video and the diagram and the unit worked well. Got replacement part Pan Kit 234DOM/MON. I needed the wire stand that holds the drawer too but GE discontinued it. When i otdered the above part it was reformatted so the wire frame is not needed. It was easy and works much better Read more
Purchased new Interface Display from Appliance Parts Pro at about $60 bucks cheaper than from GE and it is OEM board. Snapped the old board out pulled three connectors. Positioned new board installed connectors snapped in place. Works great! Read more
