I disconnected the spray arm housing from the bottom of the dishwasher. I took apart the spray arm housing to isolate the spray arm. I put the spray arm housing back together with the new spray arm and replaced the spray arm housing to the bottom of the dishwasher. Read more

The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more

I got online to see what might be wrong with my unit and then see what parts were recommended to repair the problem. I found this site and ordered two parts a piston and nut assembly and a check valve if the piston and nut did not fix my problem. Once I received my parts I installed the piston and nut assembly first and that was all I needed to make it drain prperly. My husband removed the old connector and replaced it with a new one. My dishwasher is a GE and we bought it in 1992. Since then only a few parts needed to be replaced. I am not looking forward to looking for a new dishwasher since this one has lasted so long and still cleaning dishes. Read more
