Routes water from inlet valve to tub. Replace if cracked, leaking at connections, or worn from age. Installs between valve and tub exterior connection point.
I replaced the pump and motor assembly. I also proactively replaced the fill hose while I had the dishwasher out since it was decades old. GE now only sells a generic kit. There were about 7 different sets of directions for different groups of models, and myriad adapters and other parts to support all of them. I wish GE had provided a way of looking up which instructions to use based on model # as that would have saved me a lot of trouble sorting out the instructions, but I didn't find one.... Read more

I replaced the pump drain assembly. The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. On previous repairs, the old drain hose was tricky to reinstall, so I replaced it and the hose clamp.The silverware basket had holes in the bottom and required replacement. 8-32 x 5/8 inch screw secures inner door panel to outer door panel along edge. Replace stripped, missing, or corroded screws during door repairs.
