When we inspected the first time we found that Plactic had broken from the spiral part that for wards the ice. Also there were cracks in two places of other parts. There was a hole in the bottom of the bin. The new spiral was assembled and two new parts were replaced with help from the video and the diagram and the unit worked well. In addition to installing this moisture kit, a new dispenser control board must be installed. Use part number WR55X10270 for 4 or less buttons. Use part number WR55X10195 for 5 or more buttons.

Ordered new assembly. got in 2 days, put in same day received, with no problems. Works just fine. now don't have to use crushed ice. d9id have to get some one to change bulb for me. my fingers could not grip bulb. so got skinny fingered. step son to do. thanks for your fast service. Read more

At first I ordered the replacement control board, but that didn't fix the problem. Then I ordered the Interface and control board all in one piece. That fixed the problem immediately. It was easy to install and now it looks great and works great. Read more
After doing some research, I thought the dispenser interface panel was the main issue with lights not working and not dispensing of ice and water, I ordered and replaced the panel. It should be noted that the clicking issue did start until sometime after we started having dispensing issues which is why I did not think the main control board was an issue.
