This assembly meters cold air from the freezer into the fresh-food compartment and provides temperature feedback to the controls. Replacing a failing unit restores proper airflow and more stable, even cooling performance.
Replaced all temperature sensors, damper, and the thermistor (all probably were not needed but I was not exactly sure the issue, but I knew my heater, compressor, and the evaporator fan were all working correctly). Read more
This power cord assembly supplies electrical power from the wall outlet to your refrigerator. Replace a cut, frayed, or overheated cord to restore safe, reliable operation and eliminate intermittent power loss caused by a damaged cord. What it does:

This hose clamp kit secures the washer's hoses at the pump, tub, or valve connections, helping stop leaks and hose blow-offs. Replace worn or missing clamps to restore a tight, reliable seal during fill, wash, and drain.
The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Putting the new parts on was an easy 5 minute job. Read more

I replaced the upper and mid spray arms and bearings, removed filters and screens and cleaned everything. Pulled pump and replaced the connector and the collection sump. Repair took about 3 hours and went very smoothly thanks to the AppliancePros video! I'm on the east coast so I could not believe it when the parts arrived less than 24 hours after I placed the order! Prices were great too . . . I'm a customer for life and my dishwasher cleans the dishes like new now! Read more

This replacement freezer door gasket creates a secure, flexible seal around the freezer door to help keep cold air in and warm air out, restoring proper door closure and helping the freezer maintain consistent temperature. What it does:
This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Ultimately, I got to a point where what failed, I hadn't been ordered the part yet. The seal on the freezer door took three bathing's before it plumped up and un-creased. The directions on the box it is shipped in said to heat the seal up in hot water then cool it down with tap water. I didn't need to do that. It took a lot of massaging of the seal, but... Read more

Went to appliance parts Web site looked at the symptoms ordered the suggested parts, my favorite was watching the part repair video, on what the part does and how to install, got the parts the next day, defrosted the fridge 100%, and one by one installed each part what an easy process the video showed exactly where the part was located and how to remove the old and install the new one, now my fridge is working and cooling better than before I saved over $1,400, didn't have to buy a new... This evaporator fan bracket secures the evaporator fan assembly behind the rear panel. A rigid, correct-fit mount preserves blade clearance and airflow across the evaporator coils for steady temperatures while minimizing vibration and noise.
The problem was most likely the evaporator fan motor but it could have been a bad blade, loose parts or bad motor mounts. Hard to tell without taking everything apart and inspecting. Since fridge was 17 years old I decided to order the entire evaporator fan assembly as shown in the parts diagram including fan blade, motor brackets, motor, motor mounts, screws, etc. Getting to the assembly involved removing the ice maker unit plus the entire rear inside of the freezer section. Parts cost around... Read more

I am a retired commercial hvac professional so I know how icemakers work but don't know all the brands. Looked at 15 videos on general ice makers on the internet to get clues, and then I made a list of things I wanted: brand new solenoid fill valve, new cardboard backing for the rear that the delivery men broke up delivering the fridge, and a new plastic stripper plate because outboard tine was broken on mine. Next I changed my whole house water filter. (Don't want trash in lines) Then I... Read more
