After doing some recon online, looked like the check valve was the likely culprit. Sure enough, when I pulled the old one out (it attaches to the larger white tube coming out of RO membrane chamber) I could blow air through it both ways, indicating it was shot. I used a little plumbers tape when I installed the new check valve into the membrane chamber. The control flow (flow restrictor in black tube attached to RO membrane chamber) had been filled with gunk at time of last filter change so... Read more
They don't make parts to simply repair the valve; you have to order a whole new valve, which I did. After receiving the new valve I discovered that the inlet adapter was stripped so I ordered a new inlet adapter. The fix took just a few minutes. After installing the new valve I replaced the inlet adapter and now I have no leaks. It works like new. The repair occurred in two parts. First, I replaced the leaking valve.
