The auger motor failed and wouldn't turn. I replaced the motor and it works without a problem. Make sure you dont throw away the motor boot or buy one if you don't have one. Otherwise, the temperature will freeze up the motor and lead to premature failure. Read more

I just can't throw anything that works away, especially an expensive refrigerator.
