Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. I searched online for a replacement broiler support. I did not know what the part was called so initially searching was a little difficult. Had a little trouble getting the correct part number, but with the help of Appliance Parts Pros very knowledgeable customer service. The correct part was ordered. Removed two screws to access inside panel of door. These screws also secure the door handle. Removed an additional 4 screws to completely remove the old handle.
