Ordered a new element, and installed it myself. Online chat was very helpful to make sure I was getting the right part for our 19-year old range. I also ordered two drip pans for the cooktop, saw someone else's comment that manufacturer's pans fit better than generic replacements so thought I'd give them a try. Absolutely right, love them! We have a Whirlpool electric stove that was missing the medallion piece that fits in the center of the burner elements. Whirlpool no longer manufactures this and had no parts left, nor did any of several online sites I tried. Yours had a picture of the medallion made for GE stoves that looked like ours so I took a chance and ordered 4 of them. They fit perfectly! A small, but irksome thing, and nice to get resolved.
