If the orifice holder is damaged, the flame that is cooking the food may not receive a steady supply of gas, and the cooking temperature will be affected.Disconnect the power from the gas stove and shut off the gas supply. Take the grates and burner caps off the stoves. Remove the burner bases so that there is access to the top panel of the stove. Remove the screws holding the top panel in place and take the top panel off. Set the screws aside. Loosen the electrode bracket and take the orifice holder off the stove. Install the new orifice holder and tighten the mounting screw. Replace the parts removed during the repair and reconnect the gas and power.This orifice holder is a metal part that is sold individually.
