This small replacement clip secures cabinet insulation in place to help maintain proper thermal performance and reduce vibration. A simple, original-equipment style retainer for restoring insulation fit and keeping internal components covered. What it does:
Replaced the bulb with a standard appliance bulb, recommended wattage, but the "gasket" behind the ring holding the glass cover over the bulb looked like a mat of fiberglass. It was almost impossible to get back into place without tufts of it sticking out of the metal ring. Had to replace the igniter module. Some key things I came to learn: 1. If you remove the bottom drawer, you can find an envelope there that is for the technician. It explains some things about how the igniter senses the flame, and some advice about diagnosis. 2. The igniter module on my model of slide-in range is located inside a box that is visible when you remove the bottom drawer. No need to slide the range out. 3.
