The Harness Switch is an OEM replacement part for GE gas ranges. Internally wired to the electronic control board, it regulates power distribution to the burner ignitors. Turned the breaker off for the range. Lifted the range out of the countertop. Unplugged the range from the wall. Removed the gas knobs. Removed the grates. Removed the burner assemblies. Removed the machine screws that hold the top and bottom together. Disconnected the old wiring harness. Installed the new wiring harness. Reassembled. Plugged in the unit.
