I unplugged the unit from the wall socket (used to send the spark to each burner, I then removed burner grates, removed the 2 screws that fastened each burner bowl in place, un hooked the electrical connection that lead to the ignitor fastened to each bowl, removed the remnants of the old seals that had disintegrated and wiped clean the rim where the new seals would be placed, cleaned the residue of liquids that had leaked underneath the cooktop and collected on the surface below, attached the...
