I had to remove the microwave from the range and then remove the cover from the microwave to determine the exact problem. After a visual inspection then discharging the high voltage capacitor, I used a meter to test the high voltage diode and fuses. After using the meter to ohm out the magnetron, I removed it from the unit, and seeing that the hole in the end of the magnetron's tube was enlarged and burnt, as if it was arcing, I assumed it was the bad part. Ordered new film, cut to size with a T square and an exacto knife, use old film as a template. Round corners with a nail clipper. Apply to inside of door, good as new in 15 minutes! Great service, speedy too. Read more

After replacing the whole light assembly. The was no power to the lights. Pulled the control panel out and the copper fuse had burnt out. Soldered a new copper fuse line and works great. Read more
