This nut assembly is a small mounting fastener that secures appliance components to studs or brackets, helping keep panels and internal parts stable for safe, quiet operation. What it does
This body latch assembly secures the appliance door during operation, restoring proper door closure and allowing cycles to start and run safely. It replaces a worn or broken latch to improve sealing and reliable door engagement. What it does:
The Thermostat is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It monitors the temperature inside the microwave during operation.
Causes of a bad thermostat can be simply wear and tear over time. Exposure to spills, dirt, or dust can also cause issues.
Symptoms of a bad microwave thermostat include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
A noise filter that helps suppress electrical interference on the appliance power line, reducing hum, arcing and radio-frequency interference for more reliable operation. Fits into the appliance mains to limit unwanted electrical noise. What it does
This control panel assembly provides the front user interface for your appliance, restoring button access and a clean appearance. It replaces a cracked, damaged, or unresponsive control panel so you can operate your appliance normally. What it does:
This nut assembly secures an appliance component to its mounting point, restoring a solid connection and preventing unwanted movement. Replace a damaged or missing nut to stop rattling and keep parts aligned for reliable operation. What it does:
This lamp holder secures the oven light bulb and provides the electrical connection needed for interior oven illumination. It restores a stable socket for the bulb so the oven light turns on reliably and stays mounted. What it does:
The Microwave Transformer is an OEM component specifically designed for GE built-in microwave ovens. This transformer steps down household voltage to safely power microwave generation and magnetron tube operation.
Causes of failure can be heat cycling degrading insulation or loose electrical connections resulting in arcing. Moisture damage over time can corrode internal windings and circuitry.
Symptoms include:
This genuine GE part is compatible with Hotpoint and select Kenmore microwaves as well.
This electronic main control board manages and times the appliance's functions, restoring proper cycle control and user-interface operation when the original board fails. Replace a faulty board to return consistent, reliable appliance control. What it does:
This capacitor helps the appliance motor start and run smoothly, restoring proper motor operation and reducing startup strain. Use this exact replacement to address motor performance issues. What it does:
This ST4-20 TBHC screw secures panels and components in appliances where a small, thread-forming fastener is required. It replaces stripped or missing screws to restore safe, stable assembly and alignment. What it does:
The Control Board is an OEM part for GE microwaves. This board is responsible for controlling the various heating elements, fans and sensors within the microwave to make sure you have proper and safe operation. It allows the microwave to function, including setting time/power levels and relaying information from the temperature and humidity sensors.
Causes of a bad control board can include failure due to prolonged exposure to steam and moisture inside the microwave, defects from manufacture, or damage due to impact or mishandling.
Symptoms of a bad control board include:
This GE replacement part is compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
Replaced the board. Very easy but rather expensive. Read more
The Black Door is an OEM part for GE microwaves. As the main barrier between the microwave cavity and exterior, the door is subject to constant exposure and wear.
Causes for a bad door can include dents, scratches or other surface damage accumulated over time and use. The door seal may deteriorate, failing to provide an adequate barrier between the radiation and the exterior. Hinges or latches may become loose or fail to function properly.
Symptoms of a bad door include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
I removed one screw from the vent cover on front top of the microwave and removed the cover. This is necessary in order to replace the door. I then lifted the door off of the hinges and then reversed the process. I opted to replace the entire door because it was cheaper than replacing the handle, plus it took less time. Read more
The Turntable Motor is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It is responsible for rotating the glass turntable plate during cooking, ensuring food is evenly heated throughout the microwave cavity.
Symptoms of a bad turntable motor include:
Causes can be normal wear and tear over time from continuous use, failure of electronic components in the motor, or damage from heavy loads or impact. This GE replacement motor restores even cooking performance.
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models. Replace yours today before a minor problem becomes a major repair bill. Continued use without a properly functioning turntable can damage other microwave components.
I ordered the replacement motor. I unplugged the microwave. Then I simply removed the turntable spindle by lifting it up off the motor from inside the microwave. Next, I removed the 7 screws holing the bottom of the microwave in place. I lowered the bottom of the microwave, giving me access to the motor. I unplugged the two wires connected to the motor, removed the 2 screws holding the motor in place, then put the new motor in place and reversed the steps to complete the job. Read more
The Turntable Shaft is an OEM part for GE built-in and over-the-range microwaves. It acts as the central hub on which the turntable platter smoothly rotates during the cooking cycle.
Causes of a problematic shaft can include wear from prolonged use creating play or friction in rotational movement. Debris intrusion into the central bearing assembly can also affect smooth operation over time.
Symptoms of a bad shaft include:
This GE replacement shaft ensures even heating by allowing for uniform distribution of microwave energy throughout cooking. Compatible with GE Profile, Hotpoint, and select Kenmore units, it restores reliable functionality before further troubles develop.
I ordered the cover, fan and clip to hold the cover in place at the top of the microwave. Took me less than 3 minutes to fix. Very easy and the parts dept at AppliancePartsPro are excellent. Read more
