The Turntable Shaft is an OEM part for GE built-in and over-the-range microwaves. It acts as the central hub on which the turntable platter smoothly rotates during the cooking cycle.
Causes of a problematic shaft can include wear from prolonged use creating play or friction in rotational movement. Debris intrusion into the central bearing assembly can also affect smooth operation over time.
Symptoms of a bad shaft include:
This GE replacement shaft ensures even heating by allowing for uniform distribution of microwave energy throughout cooking. Compatible with GE Profile, Hotpoint, and select Kenmore units, it restores reliable functionality before further troubles develop.
I ordered the cover, fan and clip to hold the cover in place at the top of the microwave. Took me less than 3 minutes to fix. Very easy and the parts dept at AppliancePartsPro are excellent. Read more
This high-voltage capacitor is used in the microwave's HV circuit. It stores and releases energy to power the magnetron, helping restore consistent heating performance when the original capacitor has failed or degraded. What it does:
Restore heat in your microwave with this high voltage transformer. It steps household power up to energize the magnetron, addressing no-heat and loud-hum complaints when the original transformer shorts or weakens.
The Microwave Case is an OEM exterior shell compatible with GE built-in microwaves. It fully encloses the unit, protecting internal components from damage.
Causes of a bad case can include dents, cracks or peeling of the protective surface over time. Exposure to heat or moisture may degrade certain materials.
Symptoms of a bad case include:
This case is also compatible with select Hotpoint and RCA microwaves.
This rivet assembly is a direct-replacement fastening piece used to secure appliance panels and components, restoring a stable, rattle-free fit and preventing movement caused by worn or broken rivets. What it does:
I replaced the stirrer fan cover and fan, which had some carbon and slight burn marks on it. It was difficult to remove the fan cover as it did not rotate. I had to pry it off with a flat blade screwdriver, breaking the plastic tabs on the cover (which was being discarded anyway). I then cleaned any visible carbon deposits and replaced the cover and fan, using the old stirrer fan holder as it appeared OK. However, I was unable to rotate the cover into the locked position so I could not insert... Read more
