Compression nut for 5/16" plastic water line.
Ordered and replaced defrost timer and bimetal defrost switch. Defrosted the freezer coils. Got to timer on top of unit. Removed timer. NO instructions with new timer!! Ohmed new timer to figure what the loose timer wire tied to. Compared to schematic and decided on connecting it to 2 (pink). Put it all together along with the bimetal switch. Went to chat and chose the two handles that were specifically for my model GE Profile Refrigerator. The items came in two days and the fix was super easy. HOWEVER, for some reason the baskets in MY GE fridge must not be original because the handles were too short. I decided to keep them and work with them as without anything there the food would just slide out.
