The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. Kitchen aid no longer makes a replacement. I bought one made by whirlpool that looked a bit big. I scraped the old stuff off the metal template and manipulated the new gasket to fit around the template. With a bit of stretching, it fit; I replaced it into the oven wall, and it works well. Read more
