This door glass is the clear panel in the appliance door that restores visibility and door integrity when the original glass is cracked, shattered, or damaged. Replacing it restores a safe, clean viewing window.

Very easy to replace. Removed the door from the oven and placed on a soft surface (carpet). Removed the top bracket (4 small screws) Clear the door of all broken glass. Placed new liner with the new provided gasket in the lower brackets and re-installed the top bracket. It took longer to clear the glass pieces from the door then to install the new liner. Read more

We ordered the replacement part from Appliance Parts Pro and the cost was quite reasonable and shipping was lightning fast! Replacement was quite easy and straight forward - remove handle and the two guides from the bottom that hold the glass, attach handle to new glass, screw in the new glass and replace the guides. Like a boss! Seriously, removed oven from wall (2 screws), removed about 15 sheet metal screws from front and top covers, unplugged wire harnesses one (or a few) at a time. Reassembled. Hint. Take a picture of wiring before removing and mark old parts (especially thermal fuse) with sharpie before removing so you don't get confused. It's really hard to tell a used electrical part from a new one. Read more
The hardest part of the job was removing and lifting the built in oven out of the cabinet. Once it was out of the cabinet we had to remove the metal panel to reach the blower motor. The job was quickly completed and the oven was returned to the cabinet where I hope to get another 15 years. Read more
We had to replace the panel. A few issues. We had to remove the handle from the broken panel to the new panel. This was a bit tricky but our next door neighbor had gone through this same issue so he and my husband were able to work it through without damaging anything. The only other part was lining up the screws and securityring the clips. Looks great and works great. Read more
