The bolt that holds the agitator and the agitator cam was rusted in place so it made the project way more difficult than it should have been. Had to cut the agitator off the shaft and cut the head of the frozen bolt off. Thankfully, Appliance Pros had all three parts I needed. Once the parts arrived it only took ten minutes to fix. Fixing the problem was quite simple. First, I removed the lid assembly (thanks to the diagrams supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com!). Getting the back two screws out was very difficult because I couldn't see them from the front and I could not move the unit out of the enclosed space. After some trial and error, I located the screws which were 5/16 hex head screws and removed them with a MAGNETIC nut driver. Watched on line Video. Only problem was in disconnecting wire "bus" connector from switch. I was unable to remove connector without damaging it. I "jumped" connector to prove switch was faulty. This also allowed my wife to continue to do laundry while part arrived. I ordered a 3 circuit connector, but this was not the correct part. I ended up removing 3 wires from old broken connector and attaching them to new switch without a connector. Electrical tape did the trick. Not perfect... Read more

I utilized your videos. The pump video implied if the leak was ignored? You would have to cut the pump off, which was what I did. The impeller also had to be cut down to the plastic collar on the motor shaft, which I used a handheld chop grinder to get through the plastic collar without damaging the shaft, because of the neglect on the leak the motor shaft had to be filed and sandpapered to accept the new pump.
