The plastic wheel in the ice crusher broke into pieces and the ice bucket had a crack in it Carol C. • Weatogue , CT • August 07, 2015
The bucket was an easy fix. There is a film on the website showing exactly how to replace it. The ice crusher was a bit of a problem because it had to be completely taken apart -- many small parts to put back in order!! We used the diagram from the website, plus I took photos from various angles before we took it apart. We were careful, and with patience, it went back together.
We ordered the parts on a weekend, and expected it to take a few days. The parts were sitting in our...

This overload is a thermal protection device that mounts on the motor/compressor and opens the circuit when excessive heat or current is detected. Replacing a weak or failed overload helps restore safe startup and protects the windings from damage. What it does:
- Monitors motor/compressor temperature and current draw
- Interrupts power on overheat/overload to prevent damage
- Aids troubleshooting of start/run issues when paired with the start device
- Common symptoms: hums then clicks off, won't start, intermittent shutdown, frequent tripping
What's included:
- 1 thermal overload protector
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; allow components to cool
- Access the terminal area on the motor/compressor; remove any cover
- Note/photograph wire positions; transfer wires and fully seat the new overload on the correct terminal
- Inspect the start relay, capacitor, and terminals for heat damage; replace any compromised parts

It was missing the front handle of two freezer baskets Daniela O. • Park Ridge , IL • November 17, 2014
Went to chat and chose the two handles that were specifically for my model GE Profile Refrigerator. The items came in two days and the fix was super easy. HOWEVER, for some reason the baskets in MY GE fridge must not be original because the handles were too short. I decided to keep them and work with them as without anything there the food would just slide out. APP were very helpful and even looked to other online sellers and the replacement part for my unit was correct. We came to the...

Broken refrigerator crisper drawer Douglas L. • Sturgeon Bay , WI • August 07, 2014
ApplicancePartsPros.com brings up a parts diagram when you put the refrigerator's model number in. It is a fast way to find a part if you don't know what its called or its stock number. It was pretty easy. I found the part in the diagram then clicked on it and was taken right to its sales page. The checkout was fast and I got the drawer in about 5 days. If you are looking for parts to you old appliance (mine is 13 yrs old), this a good place to start.
