Viewed video on how to repair ice door. Take care when using a putty knife to pry the exterior cover of the ice/water dispenser frame off door. Look underneath and make sure you are not prying against the part that's bolted to the door or you could break it.. Mine also seemed to be glued on and it seems like it does not sit flush against the door after I reinstalled it. It may have been that way to start with. Ordered a drop-in replacement. The most difficult part was scraping a bit of packaging adhesive off of the glass. Note: I checked "Screwdrivers" under "Which tools did you use?" because the web site assumes tools are needed and doesn't accept "Other." No tools were needed except a razor blade to scrape off the adhesive. Read more
