This was a Maytag DE312 actually a Whirlpool labeled as Maytag) and is 27 years old. Replaced motor, drive belt and drum rollers. One tricky part was the motor because the new motor comes with integral starter and it was necessary to cut off existing female spade connectors on some wires and crimp on new connectors. Watched the video,seemed somewhat simple. Unplug. Some knobs are screwed in as the threads indicated on the part then pulled each connections out one by one. Remember to see how it was mounted mine was connections facing up. Turned on and tested and was done... Read more
