Bought frigidaire crown dryer (2001) to fix this is unplug dryer (240v) mover out on the head unscrew the timer plate on the left side of timer you will fined the moisture controler unplug the conductor cord (white) and plug in new controler remove old and replace with new put plate back on timer head . Temperature selector switch.
Disconnect power to dryer. Use putty knife to push in clips and tip back the top. Unplug wiring harness. Remove screws from inside top front of dryer at each side, tip out front and remove. Remove color coded wires from switch. Replace switch, reattach wires. Replace dryer front, tipping drum into place. Reconnect wiring harness. Close top, reconnect power & test. Read more
