I couldn’t figure out what sensor was bad. I changed some of the usual suspects- thermostat, thermistor, high limit sensor n even the coils on the gas valve which tested slightly out of spec on the ohms. Found that when I "jumped" the hi limit thermostat the gas valve operated. So just went ahead and R/R the Hi limit thermostat, thermo-fuse, and the cycling thermostat. No problems. Read more
Replaced the push to start switch and the thermal fuse. The dryer is 23 years old and is working fine since we replaced the parts that were recommended on your website.
