I unplugged the machine from the electric socket and removed the drain hose. I then shut the water valves to the unit. I removed the two screws from the rear sides of the control panel. I gently lifted the control panel and tilted it forward resting it on the lid of the machine to expose the control knobs. It took two repair attempts to fix the dryer. When I found the dryer off Craigslist, I didn't notice until recently the front panel plug was missing. I ordered the plug from Appliance Parts Pros, got the part & installation took seconds as it was a snap-in part. Couldn't be any happier. Also discovered the drum would not light up when the door opened. Ordered the bulb also from Appliance Parts Pros.
